What’s better than a weekend full of good food, drinks, and company? A festival that includes all three. The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival (FWFWF) is back and we’re here to remind you to grab your last-minute tickets before they sell out.

Back and better than ever

Considered to be one of North Texas’ most celebrated festivals, FWFWF is bringing back its full-scale event at the Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork spanning four delicious days and nights from Thurs., March 31 to Sun., April 3.

In 2020, the food fest was canceled because of the pandemic. A trimmed-down version was held this past fall. Executive Director Julie Eastman commented that this year’s event is all about celebrating local restaurants hit hard by the pandemic + giving them a chance to showcase what they do in support of our community.

Policies

The FWFWF is adults-only (21+). Children or infants are not allowed to attend. Pets, except for service animals, are also not permitted.

Food accommodations

Due to the size of the festival, chefs will not be accommodating food allergies, so be sure to check with vendors about the recipes’ ingredients. If a fare has something you’re allergic to, there should be plenty of other options.

For vegetarians, the Culinary Corral is the most diverse event offering the widest variety of food. Menus are not available in advance, but there are sure to be delicious meat-free eats from seasoned chefs.

What to wear

The festival coordinators suggest “smart casual” attire for the events. All signature events will be held outside and will only be canceled if the weather conditions are dangerous. Keep an eye on the weather to see if you need to bring an umbrella.

Strap on your comfortable shoes because the events are “walk-around” + limited seating will be available. Outside chairs are not permitted.

Stay up-to-date on chef lineups and tips-and-tricks on the new festival app on Apple and Google Play + by following FWFWF on Instagram and Facebook.
