Grab your lawn chairs and mosquito spray — Friday on the Green returns to the Near Southside this Friday, April 14.

Head to Magnolia Green — located on Lipscomb Street between Magnolia Avenue and West Rosedale Street — for live music, vendors, and family fun.

Food and drinks will be available from local restaurants including Rahr & Sons Brewing, The Magnolia Wine Bar, i Fratelli Pizza, Leo’s Churro Bar, and more.

The free, dog-friendly event will be held on the second Friday of the month from 5 to 10 p.m., with dates tentatively set for May 12, June 9, Sept. 8, and Oct. 13.

Free parking will be available in the parking garage located at 1201 Alston Ave. Guests can also get a 50% off Trinity Metro tickets by using the GoPass mobile app with the code FOTG23A.

Local businesses still have time to take part in the upcoming vendor markets with Wandering Roots, Love Local, and Witchy Bazaar. Learn how to apply here.
