Zoo School at the Fort Worth Zoo is a wildly different way to begin your child’s learning journey.

Designed for ages 3 to 5, Zoo School blends wildlife encounters, outdoor exploration, and hands-on learning into a one-of-a-kind experience.

From watching animals up close to hiking through the Zoo, children learn by doing — building confidence, curiosity, and friendships along the way.

The program runs September 2026 through May 2027 and includes themed activities, snacks, a Zoo School T-shirt, and memorable in-park excursions.

Families can choose between two flexible options:

  • Tiny Trackers (ages 3 to 5) meets once a week for three hours, with morning or afternoon sessions available.
  • Nature’s Navigators (ages 4 to 5) meets twice a week for five-hour days, giving children even more time to explore, create, and connect through nature-based learning.

At Zoo School, every day is filled with moments of wonder. Spots fill quickly: enroll your child today.
