With over a dozen local breweries across town, picking a new brew can be overwhelming — how do you decide which beer to grab? Oh, us? We’re drawn to the colorful designs + the ones making a difference in our community.
🍺 Rahr & Sons Brewing , Ruff Ale
Rahr to the Rescue (a partnership with Rahr & Sons Brewing) is giving sheltered dogs a second chance at life. The organization teamed up with local shelters to create limited-time beer cans that feature dogs looking for a fur-ever home. Check out this month’s adoptable pets .
🍺 Panther Island Brewing , Sour Bush
The American blonde ale is a collaboration with Uncle Bekah’s Inappropriate Trucker Hats as part of the local artist series. The sour ale features hints of lemon + hibiscus and was inspired by Bekah’s favorite plants.
🍺 Martin House Brewing Company , Tropical Punch Pickle Beer
It’s the best of both worlds — fruit punch and pickle beer. Fort Worth-based Best Maid Pickles teamed up with the brewery to create the unique pairing. If you grew up eating Kool-Aid pickles , this one’s for you.
🍺 Maple Branch Craft Brewery , Raspberry Fields
Considered to be the most popular on the brewery’s menu, Raspberry Fields is sporting a new design this year in 22-ounce glass bottles. The blond ale is made with fresh raspberries and typically served in a Teku (a uniquely-shaped glass perfect for picking up aroma).
🍺 Wild Acre Brewing , Billy Jenkins Bock
Derived from the city’s namesake, General William Jenkins Worth . The beer was one of the first brewed by the company and features notes of sweet spruce, brown sugar, and caramel + is less sweet than a traditional German Bock.
