The studio space, which offers time with professional sound engineers, is available for booking.

If we asked you where in Fort Worth you could find microphones similar to those that Taylor Swift uses to record her music, would your first guess be the downtown YMCA? Maybe it should be.

Recently opened to the public, the downtown YMCA’s 4All Studios offers classes + bookings dedicated to the recording arts.

Ready to channel your inner Swiftie? Music recording packages at the studio include options like recording with a master sound engineer ($75/hour or $600 for a full day), writing and production sessions ($450-$1,250), and editing hot desks ($10/hour).

Bonus: Above the 4All Studios, there are lab production stations designed for youth classes + workforce development for teens who want to be in audio-visual professions.

Over the next three years, the YMCA plans to expand 4All Studios to include:

  • Video production + multiple editing stations
  • Dance and theater studios
  • Transforming the deep-water pool into a small performance venue
