Outdoors
Fort Worth Parks & Recreation just acquired 16 acres to add to the Tandy Hills Natural Area. According to the press release, 11 acres will go towards the park that visitors can explore, and the remaining acreage will become part of the Open Space program.

This year’s Lights Out, Fort Worth initiative is already well underway. Until Monday, June 15, residents and business owners are encouraged to turn off nonessential lights from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. to protect thousands of birds during their spring migration. Read all about it.
