Eight lesser flamingos — a type breed that is smaller in size and darker in color — hatched at the Fort Worth Zoo last week. Despite their near-threatened status, 454 lesser flamingos have been born at the Fort Worth Zoo in total. Number

$55,002-$165,006. If your household income falls in that range, you’re considered middle class for Fort Worth, according to a report from SmartAsset. FTW’s range was No. 44 highest overall and No. 5 highest in the state, behind Frisco, Plano, Austin + Irving.

Tech

Would you ride in an air taxi? Texas is one of 26 states participating in a three-year pilot program recently approved by the FAA that will test electric aircraft travel, including electric air taxis. The program will allow select companies to trial electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. (TechCrunch, Built In)

Regional

Voting is open in the search to crown the nation’s best riverwalk, and San Antonio is in the running. Four hours south of FTW, the San Antonio River Walk makes for a great day trip. If you’re looking for things to do while you’re in The Alamo City, SATXtoday is a good place to start. (USA Today)

Watch

Did you catch that? Dallas Cowboys guard Tyler Booker was spotted at a Stars game this week and the jumbotron just happened to catch him chugging a beer. Catch part of his excitement that WFAA’s Sandra Turner reshared.
