🍻 The end of an era

After 11 years, Panther Island Brewing cleaned its unitanks one last time and shut down permanently over the weekend.

Founded in 2014 by Ryan McWhorter, the brewery earned several accolades throughout the years, including CultureMap’s 2023 Tastemaker Awards. The closure is due to many factors.

It’s not done quite yet. Say “cheers” to 11 years and toast one last time this Friday, Feb. 13, 6-10 p.m.

The Wrap

Today’s edition by: Elizabeth Hastings

Is Bad Bunny now on everyone’s travel mood board? After his Super Bowl halftime performance, I started reminiscing about the colorful streets of Old San Juan, the seaside breezes, and of course, the Bacardi of it all. I’m already researching nonstop flights back to the island out of DFW.
