📸 Celebrity spotted

FTW_landman_jacobofland

Nothing beats a chill lunch break offset.

Recognize that face? If you do, then you must be deep in the Western drama television series “Landman” — filmed here in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Jacob Lofland, who plays Cooper Norris, was spotted between takes at Los Vaqueros.

But that’s not the only celebrity ever spotted at the popular Stockyards restaurant. Find out which A-List celeb couple dined there recently.

Is it hot in here? Huy Fong Foods is the most popular hot sauce in Texas, according to new data from Instacart. If you ask us, hot sauce pairs well with one of these local lunches that won’t break the bank.

Active

It’s time to raise the bar. Fort Worth landed at No. 77 on WalletHub’s new list of the “Best and Worst Cities for an Active Lifestyle” in 2026. For anyone aiming to build healthier habits this year, a locally owned gym is a solid place to start.
Country line dancing is making a comeback, and bars across the US are embracing a honky-tonk vibe to draw in crowds. Editor’s Pick: Slip on your cowboy boots and join the fun in Cowtown at Rodeo Exchange’s free dance lessons every Tuesday and Thursday. (Wall Street Journal)

The Wrap

Did you know that you can volunteer to personally hand out medals at the finish line of the Cowtown Marathon? When I was on the website, I also saw spots available to hand out finisher jackets — which sound fancy. This year’s marathon runs from Friday, Feb. 27 to Sunday, March 1. Select a date and look into other volunteer opportunities. You could get to cheer on the racers next to me and the FTWtoday team.
