The Major League Volleyball (MLV) has revealed North Texas’ first professional women’s volleyball team with an official name and logo. Introducing the Dallas Pulse.
The schedule for the Pulse has not been released yet, but we do know the season will open in January, led by former head coach of Canada’s Women’s National Team Shannon Winzer. Season ticket deposits opened last week.
The MLV already announced 13 team players, including 11-year pro Natalia Valentin-Anderson and SMU coach Celia Cullen.

I finally made it out to the State Fair for closing weekend. The best part was seeing one of my favorite bands from the early 2000s — Hoobastank. Due to inclement weather, the band played a condensed version of their setlist, but honestly, I could’ve kept dancing and singing in the rain for as long as they were willing to play. Unfortunately, that was their last show for a while, as no more tour dates are posted to their website.
