Summer is coming to an end, which means festival season is right around the corner. From music festivals and grape stomping to one of the biggest state fairs in the country, fall is when North Texas thrives. Get ready to get outside with these 10 festivals happening this autumn.
¡Celebramos! | Fort Worth Botanic Garden
The festival will celebrate Latin American culture and heritage on Saturday, Sept. 13-14, and Saturday, Oct. 11-12 with live performances, exhibitions, food, and shopping experiences — and 46,000 marigolds.
Mid-Autumn Festival | Asia Times Square
Head to Grand Prairie from Friday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 5 to light the night with mesmerizing shows and feast on mooncakes and street food under the fullest moon of the year.
Denton Arts & Jazz Festival | Denton’s Quakertown Park
From Friday, Oct. 3 to Sunday, Oct. 5, enjoy free access to seven stages of continuous jazz music, fine art, crafts, food + games. This year’s headliners include Lindsey Webster and Dylan Triplett.

Next year, the Harlem Globetrotters will celebrate their 100th anniversary. The team will dribble into Dickies Arena on Monday, Feb. 16. Tickets go on sale Monday, Sept. 22. The team also has a stop in Dallas. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

The future Westside Village will break ground early next year and is slated to finish by 2028. Earlier this summer, we told you this new 37-acre development will include 880,000 sqft of office space, 238,000 sqft of retail space, a new hotel, and new apartments. (Fort Worth Inc.)

Two winning jackpot lottery tickets popped up over the weekend, resulting in a two-way split of $1.8 billion. One ticket was sold at Big’s 103 gas station in Fredericksburg. WFAA producer Sandra Turner shared the Texas Lottery’s announcement.
