On March 14, Houston entrepreneur Jacob Robinson appeared before the panel of investors on ABC’s “Shark Tank” to present his idea of a kids’ construction-themed amusement park.

Dig World is a place for kids to play with real-life-sized construction equipment in a safe environment. The concept caught the eye of investor Robert Herjavec, who offered $200,000 for 10% equity in the company.

Early next year, Robinson’s park is coming to DFW and will open inside the Grapevine Mills Mall. Let’s dig into the details.

Games and attractions

Dig World comes with many attractions you won’t find at any other park, including a mini-excavator dig, LEGO pick-up, pond fishing, cone pick-up, exca-putter, and a rubber ducky pick-up. Note: Rides are restricted by height, not age. All excavator games require solo drivers to be 42″ or taller and lap riders to be 32″ or taller.
