Did you know? Parker McCollum wrote his first song at the age of 13. | Photo by Chris Kleinmeier
Parker McCollum is bringing his Texas-sized talent to the Dos Equis Pavilion on Saturday, July 19.
Here are a couple things we love about this Gold Chain Cowboy:
His Texas roots. We loved the influence his ranch-raising had on his music.
His wife. McCollum wrote a song to propose to his wife, Hallie Ray Light. Our friends over at NASHtoday had the chance to ask him about his songwriting inspirations. Give it a read.
One dollar of every ticket sold will be donated to The Ruger Fund, which benefits the charities close to McCollum’s heart.

Plan Ahead
One year from now, we’ll be close to crowning the winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. AT&T Stadium is hosting nine matches, and is one of 16 host venues across North America. If you want to watch the action away from Cowtown, we heard Kansas City has some pretty good barbecue.
Mansion Monday
Spitting dolphins. That certainly caught our attention when we peeked at the pool of this mansion located in the gated Mira Vista Country Club. While you’re snooping, did you notice the ceiling of the main bedroom?
Watch
AMC Stubs members can now enjoy 50% off movie tickets and concession deals on Tuesdays + Wednesdays in a new deal that replaces $5 movie tickets on Tuesdays. Save this for a rainy day, but while the skies are clear, head to Coyote Drive-In for a star-lit screening. (Variety)
