Flower arranging has been a weekly tradition between Ridglea Senior Living and Trader Joe’s for years.

When flowers at Trader Joe’s don’t make the cut, where do they go? Directors at Ridglea Senior Living and The Grandview of Chisholm Trail visit every Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to collect six or seven buckets worth of stems and bring them back to the assisted living homes.
The same afternoon, senior residents DIY bouquets to take back to their rooms. Ridglea operations specialist Von Vu says, “it keeps the blooms vibrant, loved, and appreciated” even past their prime. How cute.

Whether it’s bourbon and bubbles at night or a coffee in the morning, the primary suite is meant to be enjoyed all hours of the day. | Photo by FTWtoday
Last week, FTWtoday toured this 6,931-sqft pretty palace, so now we’re giving readers an inside look. Every room was inspired — and named — after an element of California’s Napa Valley, such as “Sunset in Sonoma,” “The Cabernet Lounge,” and “The Sauv Blanc Spa.”
Built by The Morrison Group, the house includes a three-car garage and a backyard pool. The primary suite contains dual closets, a coffee bar, a free-standing tub, and a safe room. Each secondary bedroom includes its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
If you were the owner of Fort Worth’s dream home, which room would you spend the most time in?
A. The Cabernet Lounge — designed for socializers who love luxe B. The Chardonnay Room — designed for escapists who crave quiet C. The Sauv Blanc Spa — designed for self-care loyalists with taste D. The Saddle Room — designed for entertainers who bring the party

The Myers-Briggs personality test told me that I’m an ESFP — “the entertainer.” If that’s the case, then you would think I’d spend most of my time in The Saddle Room. I’d actually spend the most time in The Vino Room, with its wine-stained, textured walls and classy artwork. This one’s the best:
Classy artwork can be seen through out Fort Worth’s 2025 Dream Home.
