The Charles Schwab Challenge tees off at Colonial Country Club next week for the 79th anniversary of the PGA tournament event.
From Monday, May 19 to Sunday, May 25, more than 150 golfers will drive, chip, and putt their way to a share of the $9.5 million in prize money. The overall winner will cash in $1.71 million this year, as well as a pristine 1992 Schwab Defender.
Know before you go
Daily tickets are available in three tiers: General admission, Villages (all-inclusive), and Patio Club (clubhouse access). Prices range from $50-$580.
Gates open at 6 a.m. every day.
Parking is also priced in tiers: Rockwood Lane (parking lot with shuttle), Silver VIP (garage with shuttle), and Gold Valet + can be purchased online.
Food trucks will be on-site Thursday through Sunday, located at the Y near fairways of holes 1, 2 + 6. Browse this year’s selection.

Harvest Coffee + Kitchen announced on Instagram last week that it will close its doors next month. On Friday, June 13, the coffee shop will turn one year old, which the owners have decided will also be its last day of business.

DFW Airport released a tasty lineup of 20 new restaurants and bars coming to all five existing terminals. City Editor Elizabeth’s favorites from the full list include La La Land Kind Cafe, Velvet Taco, and Piada Italian Street Food. A list of concessions for Terminal F has not been reported.
