April is fair housing month and the city is hosting a symposium for community residents, property managers, and lenders to learn the state of fair housing, understand housing market trends, and hear best practices. The symposium is on Wednesday, April 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is free to register.

Rahr Brewing Company co-founder Fritz Rahr posted to Facebook Sunday that the brewery has outgrown its current location on Galveston Avenue and is looking for a new home. Visit its current taproom for the last time until Thursday, May 17. Availability of Rahr beers in restaurants, bars, and stores will remain.

H-E-B’s Our Texas, Our Future launched a new state-wide cleanup campaign, Trash Free Gulf. Texas cities are hosting waterway litter clean-up events throughout May. Fort Worth’s event is taking place on Saturday, May 17 at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sign up here.
