The city has announced that parking is free for residents anytime they attend City Council meetings or other events at the new Council Chamber. The free parking lot is located on the south side of the building, off Forest Park Boulevard, and provides a direct path into the chamber.
Legacy
Broadcast journalist and sports announcer for the Dallas Cowboys Bill Mercer died at 99 on Saturday. WFAA sports anchor Mike Leslie shared the announcement on social media. In 1963, Mercer famously broke the news to Lee Harvey Oswald that he was being charged with the assassination of John F. Kennedy during an interview. (WFAA)

Sunday night, 7,494 TCU fans gathered at Schollmaier Arena to watch the TCU Horned Frogs women’s basketball (WBB) team beat the Louisville Cardinals 85-70, securing their advancement to the Sweet 16.
