🍫 Move over, Hershey’s

GVLtoday Dubai Chocolate
Dubai chocolate bars have been circulating the internet since last summer, and now the craze has reached DFW.

If you haven’t heard of this trendy treat, it’s a chocolate bar filled with creamy pistachio and knafeh — a pastry dough layered with cheese and soaked in a sugar-based syrup. Here’s where you can find it around Funkytown:

IT’S SUGAR | 503 Main St. | Try the highly sought-after chocolate bar and pick up some other sour candies or gummies while you’re at it.

TIFA Chocolate and Gelato | 1300 Red River Dr., Ste. 100, Euless | Psst... their chocolate and gelato are also award-winning.

Java Lounge | 2731 FM 157 N., Mansfield | Hand-crafted from a local baker, Dipped With Love T.X., pair a chocolate bar with your favorite coffee for a breakfast of champions.

Chocolate Hangover | 520 S Main St., Ste. 207, Grapevine | Pick up a chocolate bar, then go scout for a glass of wine.

Try something different

Instead of a traditional chocolate bar, pick up a Dubai chocolate cup from Micholandia in Lake Worth or Strawberry Co. Deluxe inside Grapevine Mills Mall. Or try Dubai chocolate baklava from Galilee Falafel.

    The Wrap

Speaking of viral food trends — I have another one for you. If you are sensitive to caffeine or energy drinks, then I advise against this one. It’s called a Dirty Alani. It’s like a dirty soda, except it’s an Alani Nu energy drink (I used Pink Slush) mixed with a Core Power protein shake.
