City Editor Elizabeth here. I’m not a Texas-native and when I first moved to Fort Worth, I was looking to meet new people and build lasting friendships. I turned to apps like Bumble BFF and ClassPlass, where I could practice getting out of my comfort zone.
Friendships are key to feeling connected to your community and living a fulfilling life. However, it can be challenging. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of 20+ ways to meet new people in Panther City. But first, here are my top three.

Could an urban rail system be coming to Cowtown? Last year, Mayor Parker created a new committee to study the benefits of bringing a rail system to our entertainment districts. If approved, the operation will be part of Trinity Metro + will connect the Stockyards, Cultural District, and Near Southside. (Fort Worth Report)
