We’ve rounded up 10 farmers markets in the Fort Worth area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and local vendors.

The Clearfork Farmers Market | Saturday, year-round | 8 a.m.-12 p.m. April-October, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. November-March
  • Features: 25+ Texas vendors selling fresh produce, plants, self-care items, candles, and pottery.
  • Parking: Parking is available at Press Cafe and surrounding parking lots throughout The Shops at Clearfork.

Next month, welcome to the neighborhood a new food truck. Vonte’s Philly Cheesesteaks will set up shop outside of The Local Bar near West 7th. Though its menu be but little, it is fierce. Choose from an eight-inch or 12-inch Vonte’s Favorite, featuring rib-eye or a Broad Street Philly featuring Cheez Whiz. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Announced

Earlier this month, Fortress announced it would be closing its doors tomorrow, Feb. 27. After a generous donation from two partners, the 20-year-old childcare center will remain open through the 2025 school year. Register your child today.

Film

A new music competition is headed to CBS, starring Keith Urban and produced by Taylor Sheridan. In “The Road,” the country artist will tour the south — including a stop at Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall on Sunday, March 2 — to find the next big musician. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Closing

Mamma Mia Italian Grill and Pizza is closing its doors on Friday, Feb. 28. The Riverside restaurant lost its lease on East Belknap Street, but the owners are planning to seek a new location. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)

Community

Enrollment for Camp Fort Worth opens on Saturday, March 1. Enroll your kids (ages 5-12) in a nine-week camp from Monday, June 9 through Friday, Aug. 1, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. where they’ll get to participate in creative activities, learn new skills + build new friendships.

Plan Ahead

Keep Fort Worth Beautiful. The Cowtown Great American Cleanup is on Saturday, March 29 and registration is still open to volunteer for the city’s largest litter cleanup event. Last year, volunteers removed 134,000+ lbs in litter. Be a part of the change this year.
