You’ve got the Clearfork Farmers Market, the AMC dine-in movie theater, plus several residential options. You’ve also got the Shops of Clearfork which have opened four new stores in the past few months and have another one coming soon.

Jo Malone | Now open between Burberry and The Worthy Co., the London-based store offers fragrances, candles, home products, bath, and body care. It also offers engraving, gift wrap, and gift personalization services.

CH Carolina Herrera | Since 1981, Carolina Herrera has been offering women’s classic apparel and sophisticated basics. Today you can check out the shop between CHANEL and Natuzzi Italia.

The Worthy Co. | Shop apparel, home goods, jewelry, and more at this locally-owned store + book a candle-making class with you and your group. Open between Jo Malone and Cru Wine Bar, it’s part of a non-profit group that is working to support survivors of trafficking.

BAM Blowouts & Makeup | Opening Q2 between Francesca’s and B&B Butcher’s, this salon will provide hair styling, hair extensions, makeup, and lash extensions. It will also offer bundles and memberships starting at $90 per month.

News Notes

Active

Congratulations to our first-place winners of the Cowtown Marathon. In first place for men was Jarrett Kirk of Flower Mound with a time of two hours and 26 minutes. In first place for women was Lauren Kelly of Philadelphia with a time of two hours and 53 minutes. We think everyone is a winner though.

Concert

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden has announced a new family-friendly live music series beginning Friday, March 14 that will run on the second Friday of each month until May. Blooms & Beats will feature live performances, food trucks, and the garden’s signature spring flora. Tickets are available now. (CultureMap Fort Worth)

Biz

Fort Worth energy company, Double Eagle IV Midco LLC, has sold for $4 billion to Diamondback Energy Inc. Double Eagle was formed in 2022 by Cody Johnson and John Sellers. By Tuesday, April 1, Double Eagle will receive $3 billion cash + 6.9 million in shares of Diamondback stock. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)

Development

This April, TCU will begin construction on two campus projects totaling ~$83 million. The first will include new buildings along West Berry Street that’ll contain housing for 587 students + 14,200 sqft of retail space. The second will include housing on Cockrell Avenue for 192 students + 5,600 sqft of retail space. (WFAA)

Travel

Frontier Airlines is adding two new routes from DFW International Airport to the east coast. Starting Thursday, May 22, you can purchase direct flights to Washington Dulles International Airport or Norfolk International Airport. Flights to Dulles will be daily, while flights to Norfolk will be twice a week. (The Dallas Morning News)

All Saints’ Episcopal School is getting its third Head of School. Effective July 1, 2025, Wallace Worden will become Dr. Tad Bird’s successor. During his 27-year tenure, Dr. Bird reintroduced the Early Childhood program and launched the Tad Bird Honors College to educate outstanding Upper School students.

Fairhaven is set to receive $4 million worth of improvements as part of the city’s Neighborhood Improvement Program. The program sets out to provide resources to neighborhoods in need of upgrades. Improvements include sidewalk repairs, park updates, police camera installation, vacant building demolitions + more. (Fort Worth Report)
WFAA sports anchor Jonah Javad reshared a post that said Dallas Cowboys guard Zach Martin has announced his retirement from the NFL. With nine pro bowls and 162 career games played, Martin could be inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame post-retirement.
