With peak holiday travel wrapping up, it’s time to plan your next trip. What better way to do that than with new routes taking off from DFW International Airport this year?

The third-busiest airport in the world for passengers — which served over 86.9 million travelers in 2024 — already offers 261 nonstop destinations.

Jet set to any one of these four new destinations in 2025:
  • Cathay Pacific | Board a flight straight to Hong Kong starting April 24 — a direct route that has not been available since 2020.
  • Avelo Airlines | The low-cost, budget airline is joining DFW with flights to New Haven, Connecticut starting on March 7. The “offered no where else” flights will run twice a week.
  • Taipei, Taiwan | EVA Air will be offering this new travel destination starting on Nov. 3, which gives you plenty of time to start planning your trip.
  • Venice, Italy | Our own Fort Worth-based airline is adding this dreamy location to its offerings in May.
But that’s not all — DFW Airport has also embarked on the construction of a new terminal. Keep reading for more updates.

Anyone have an extra $17 million laying around? If so, you can be the new owner of the most expensive home currently listed in Fort Worth.

Listed by Tracy Tutor and Breah Brown of Douglas Elliman, 3736 Aviemore Dr. is a brand-new four-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom mansion in Riverhills — off the Chisholm Trail Parkway.

Built by The Construction Group, the speculative mansion features resort amenities like a 1,200-bottle hidden wine cellar, theater, and workout room. Plus, you can relax in the heated pool with an infinity waterfall by the fire pit.

“Our vision was to create a home defined by architectural character, responsibly sourced materials, and exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtfully designed to complement its environment,” The Construction Group’s Trenton Laird said.

“We are excited to introduce a home of this caliber that is especially unique to the community as it is the first of its kind on the market in Fort Worth.”
