Carpenter’s Café and Catering in the Medical District unveiled a new mural on Monday. Titled “Come To Gather,” the mural features the word “gather” spelled out in American Sign Language — a nod to togetherness, strength, and embracing everyone. The mural was created by artist Jan Riggins and was funded through the nonprofit Art Tooth.

Maple Branch Craft Brewery won Texas Brewery of the Year at the Texas Craft Brewers Cup in Austin over the weekend. The brewery took home two gold medals for its Raspberry Fields and Romanovs Revenge ales + bronze for Gigi’s Juice. Stop by the brewery to try all three on tap.

Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival is one of 20 nominees for USA Today’s list of Best Art Festivals. Currently, in first place on the leaderboard, readers have until Monday, March 18 at 11 a.m. to vote. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 29.

Architecture firm Gensler released new renderings of Terry Black’s BBQ’s new location in the Cultural District. The restaurant will feature indoor + outdoor seating, a landscaped beer garden, and views into Terry Black’s Pit House where guests can see all the barbecue action. It’s expected to open this fall.
Eat
Rangers fans will have a familiar place to eat in the ballpark this season — Whataburger. The burger chain now has signage up at Globe Life Field, but construction hasn’t begun yet. The Texas-based burger chain also has a stand in the Double-A ballpark in Corpus Christi. (The Dallas Morning News)
