Seven Dallas Cowboys players were named to the NFC Pro Bowl roster including LB Micah Parsons, QB Dak Prescott, and WR CeeDee Lamb. Players from the NFC + AFC will participate in skills competitions on Thursday, Feb. 1, and culminate with a flag football game on Sunday, Feb. 4.
Development
On Tuesday, Jan. 23, City Council will review a new affordable housing amendment. Currently, developers building in Neighborhood Empowerment Zones can set aside 20% of units for affordable housing or pay $200 per unit for five years. If approved, developers will no longer be able to opt out of low-income units. (Fort Worth Report)

Hawaiian-style restaurant Coco Shrimp is expanding north. The casual seafood restaurant will open a new location in Keller on Monday, Jan. 29. Can’t wait that long for some coconut shrimp? Visit the Near Southside location or head to the Richardson location opening on Monday, Jan. 8.

The city’s park and recreation department extended the deadline to Wednesday, Jan. 31 to provide feedback on the Play Big! Master Plan. Take the online survey to share your thoughts on the future of Fort Worth’s recreational spaces.
