Arlington developer Dodson Commercial Real Estate is relocating to Fort Worth, according to a press release. Rebranded as “Street Realty,” the company will be moving to The Vickery at 3909 Hulen St. and is the development force behind The 701, The Rosedale, and Historic 212 S. Main.

Healthy eating and lifestyle program THRIVE is coming to Fort Worth ISD. The program will open at O.D. Wyatt High School this fall to teach resiliency skills and give students and their families, who may be struggling with food insecurity, access to healthy foods. (Fort Worth Magazine)

Earlier this week, city leaders voted to give Probably Monsters, Inc. a $1.5 million incentive to bring its headquarters to Cowtown. The video game startup is working to establish a temporary office at 210 E. 8th St. and will expand to a 30,000-sqft permanent space by 2024. The company will bring 300 full-time jobs to the area by 2028.

Meet the Texas Super Kings

Major League Cricket (MLC) unveiled details about the new Dallas-based team in the league’s inaugural draft over the weekend.
The team is partnered with the Indian Premier League’s Chennai Super Kings, who will bring expertise and support, particularly in terms of coaching staff. Stephen Fleming, New Zealand cricket legend and head coach in Chennai and Johannesburg, South Africa, will lead the team.
Nine domestic cricketers have been drafted and two more international players are needed to fill out the roster for the Twenty20 league.
The Super Kings will compete against five other MLC teams — Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Seattle — in a short season running Thursday, July 13-Sunday, July 30. All 19 games and some of the 2024 World Cup will be hosted in Grand Prairie.
Viva Abejas — or “long live bees” — has returned to Toro Toro. The downtown restaurant is serving a plant-based menu with bee-centric ingredients through Sunday, April 23.
