Fort Worth is sprawling with window shopping thanks to the 10+ shopping districts across the city. WestBend recently reached 99% occupancy with new and unique tenants opening soon. Here’s what we can expect to see in the University District in the coming months.

A brief overview of WestBend

WestBend is a 278,000-sqft walkable urban center near University Drive with a focus on retail, restaurant, and office space at 1701 River Run. It’s overseen by Trademark Property Company — a mixed-use investor, developer, and operator based in Fort Worth. The retail space is ideally situated near the Trinity River overlooking the Trinity Trails.

A unique shopping experience

In the past 12 months, tenants have signed leases totaling 17,000+ sqft — here’s a rundown of what’s already open and what’s coming to the area.

Trademark’s senior vice president of leasing Daniel Goldware said, “at WestBend, we have taken great care in our merchandising effort to curate a diverse tenant mix… This is evident by having two online brands open their first physical stores at WestBend, along with several restaurants and novel brands choosing the development for their first Texas and Fort Worth locations.”
