Picture this: A quiet, meditative space with an enchanting light oasis just steps away from the Trinity River.
The surreal idea is part of a newly commissioned installation by internationally renowned artist James Turrell . The artwork will be within Keith House — the modern-day meeting house — near The Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork at 4814 Edwards Ranch Rd.

“The Keith Skyspace” will be part of the artist’s worldwide Skyspace series , using light to “evoke wonder and a sense of peace.”
According to a press release , the installation will feature a rooftop light source and open floor space with movable pews on four sides. The central gathering space will have enough room for 120 guests. There will also be a lobby, storage area, and restrooms.

Construction on Keith House began last summer with Fort Worth’s Bennett Partners as the architects, SpawGlass as the general contractor, and The Projects Group as the project managers.
According to Bennett Partners CEO Michael Bennett, “The space will help visitors consider the importance of light in our lives and how it can uplift, calm, inspire and unite us while also connecting us to faraway worlds that share their light for us to enjoy each evening.”
Keith House and the Skyspace installation were a gift from Entrada, a foundation established by the late Meta Alice Keith Bratten.
Following the opening of Keith House this summer, Entrada said it anticipates additional installations in and around Fort Worth.
