Types of trees available

There are plenty of Texas-grown trees available, including Virginia Pine, Blue Ice, and Carolina Sapphire. The farm also has a variety of Fraser Firs — which are considered to be the perfect tree for families with kids and pets.

Flocked Christmas trees

You can also choose from colorful flocked trees available in bright colors like white, red, purple, pink, blue or black. Round, Snowflake, Square + Cross are also available and they range from 4-12 ft.

Number of trees available

The tree farm plants between 1500 and 2000 new seedlings each year. This is the second weekend of Hallmark-branded festivities (the first was Nov. 27-28) and the Haynie’s family is expecting another large crowd — meaning trees could sell out fast.

Pro tip: The farm will close once it sells out of trees.

Activities for the whole family

Keep warm with a complimentary hot cider or coffee while you browse the acreage. There’s also plenty of ways to keep the kids entertained with a free hayride, playground, petting zoo + a visit from Santa between 2-4 p.m. Before you head out, be sure to stop by the gift shop for ornaments, handmade wreaths, and a photo op.

Giving back

Guests are encouraged to bring a warm coat to donate as part of the One Warm Coat Initiative — a nonprofit dedicated to providing free coats to children and adults.
