For #DrinkUpFortWorth, we’re issuing a challenge to all the cocktail-crazed Fort Worthians out there. Did you know that you can carry an open container in the Stockyards and around Mule Alleyaka anywhere with red brick. Our team has created a Cowtown cocktail crawl map — so you can enjoy your margarita responsibly + on the go.

To make this Jack-and-Coke journey doable, we’re sticking to recommendations “on the bricks,” but remember to stay on the sidewalk to keep outta trouble. Here are the 15 locations on the official FTWtoday Cowtown Cocktail Crawl.

Lil’ Red’s Longhorn Saloon, 121 W. Exchange Ave. | This “honky-tonky nirvana” — according to Texas Monthly — has been hanging around since 1910.

The Thirsty Armadillo, 120 W. Exchange Ave. | Wet your whistle with a drink at the Thirsty Armadillo + stay for live music.

Filthy McNasty’s Saloon, 114 W. Exchange Ave. | Live music played at top volume + pool tables under dim lighting, what’s more country than that?

The Basement Bar, 105 W. Exchange Ave. | The “oldest neighborhood bar” is the only venue located underneath the Stockyards.

White Elephant Saloon, 106 E. Exchange Ave. | Site of the last gunfight between Sheriff Longhair Jim Courtright against bar owner Luke Short, this honky-tonk is supposedly haunted by the memory of one of Fort Worth’s most corrupt lawmen.

Love Shack, 110 E. Exchange Ave. | Fuel up for your journey with a beer and burger by local culinary legend Tim Love.

The Cowboy Channel Bar, 112 E. Exchange Ave. | Catch a rodeo on screen at the first and only sports bar devoted solely to western sports.

Sidesaddle Saloon, 112 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 240 | You know it’s gonna be good when the drinks are named Mona Stangley and Howdy Partner. IFKYK.

Second Rodeo Brewing Co., 122 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 340 | The come-as-you-are brewery was inspired by the Outlaw Country music renegades and the outlaw cowboys of yesteryear’s Texas Prison Rodeo.

Provender Hall, 122 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 110 | Level up your bar crawl with a culinary masterpiece from chef Marcus Paslay’s grill + an “Alley Mule” with Ilegal Joven mezcal, elderflower liqueur, cucumber, lime, bitters and ginger beer.

Paloma Suerte, 122 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 280 | There are 38 different tequilas on the menu. Need we say more?

Cowtown Winery, 128 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 610 | Uncork with a wine flight at this charming Stockyards tasting room.

The Biscuit Bar, 128 E. Exchange Ave., Ste. 640 | Pair your Rough Night biscuit with a Trailer Park Shady or a Low Country Lemonade.

Riscky’s Barbecue, 140 E. Exchange Ave. | Stop in for some classic Texas barbecue and wash it down with a cold margarita.

97 West Kitchen & Bar, 200 Mule Alley Dr. | Try this: The Bluebonnet, Silver Star vodka, muddle berries + fresh lemon and lime with smoked onion dip and chips.
