Who doesn’t love a story about “way back when?” One of the best places to learn more about Cowtown culture and traditions is the Fort Worth Museum of Science & History at 1600 Gendy St. Check out these two new exhibits on display now.

“Step Into the Stock Show”

Showcasing artifacts and videos from the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, the exhibit includes Amon G. Carter’s Stetson hat and dress saddles.

“Texas Ranger Bicentennial”

Explore the history of the 200-year old law enforcement agency through original documents, weapons, and other historical items.

Don’t forget to stroll through the museum’s Plains Culture Gallery, honoring Cynthia Ann Parker and her life with the Comanche tribe.
