The Stars are a mean, green, fighting machine.

Victory has risen — The Dallas Stars defeated the Seattle Kraken (2-1) last night with a home-ice advantage in Game 7 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Division Finals.

The No. 2 seeded Stars now advance to the Western Conference Finals, taking on the No. 1 seeded Vegas Golden Knights, starting on Friday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The best-of-seven third round series will be played between T-Mobile Arena and American Airlines Center, with the first two games in Las Vegas, the second two games in Dallas, and then alternating sites if necessary for Games 5-7.

Since the Stars moved to Texas from Minnesota in 1993, the team has made 14 postseason appearances , last winning the Stanley Cup in the 1998-1999 season. The last time they made it to Round 3 was in 2020 , defeating the Golden Knights. Sadly, the Stars lost in the final round to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
