Some people make to-do lists — we make to-dine lists. Many hot new Fort Worth restaurants have opened over the past several months, from underground sushi spots to upscale raw bars.

To satisfy those who are really hungry for fresh dining options, we’ve got details on several more Cowtown restaurants coming soon, too. Grab your forks as we dig right in.

Newly open

Teddy Wongs, Near Southside | Chinese | Reservations
The wine bar and authentic Chinese restaurant is a partnership between chef Patrick Ru and Jeffery Yarbrough. Head over for soup dumplings during lunch, happy hour, and dinner.

Musume, Downtown | Japanese | Reservations
Head to the basement of the Sandman Signature Hotel for fresh sushi with fish flown in daily from Japan and table-side ramen inside an old bank vault.

Plank Seafood and Provisions, Clearfork | Seafood | Reservations
The seafood restaurant features an open kitchen setup with a full raw bar and a wood-fired grill + serves environmentally sourced ingredients from Maine to Massachusetts and the shores of Greece.

Postino WineCafé, Southlake | Italian
In the mood for a trip to Italy? The chic new bar serves wine and light bites like mix-and-match bruschetta boards and shareables during itsdaily happy hour.

Cafecito, Near Southside | Mexican
The beloved food truck opened its first brick-and-mortar in the Near Southside inside the food hall under Wabi House. The restaurant is dishing up its signature pink tortillas, breakfast tacos, chicken tinga tostadas, and quesadillas. Stop by Monday-Saturday, 6 a.m.-3 p.m.

Eazy Monkey, Near Southside | Asian | Reservations
The Asian-inspired restaurant serves items like Dan Dan chili dogs, mushroom noodle salad, and a vegetarian corn rib dish from chef Andrew Dilda.

Walloon’s Restaurant, Near Southside | Seafood | Reservations
Chef Marcus Paslay opened this latest concept, serving French-inspired seafood specials in a renovated 100-year-old bank building.

F1 Smokehouse, University | Barbecue | Reservations
Owned by Felipe Armenta’s restaurant group FAR Out Hospitality, the former barbecue food truck-turned-brick and mortar is the latest endeavor by Michelin Star-chef Graham Elliott. Stop by for homestyle barbecue with an upscale twist.

Le Margot, Hulen | French | Reservations
Also created by Armenta and Elliott, the cafe features a range of dishes that reflect the diversity of French cuisine while incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.

La Onda, Near Southside | Seafood | Call (817) 607-8605 for reservations
The Latin-style seafood eatery is now open inside Hotel Revel with delicious ceviche and a raw bar.

Quince, University | Seafood | Reservations
The riverside restaurant serves globally inspired dishes from all over the globe including ceviche and sushi, just steps from the Trinity Trails.

Nizza Pizza, Camp Bowie | Pizza
The New York-style joint is serving pizza, foot-long subs, and pasta.

Salt Seafood and Steak House, Weatherford | Seafood | Reservations
The fine dining experience opened in a 155-year-old home just off of the Historic Downtown Weatherford Square + serves lobster, scallops, and steaks.

You gouda brie kidding — Choose from seven different mac and cheese bowls and six grilled cheese options.

Portico Coffee, Northside | Coffee
Located in the historic Koldin House, the cafe features couches, tables for working, and an outside patio. Owner Noble Menchaca took over the former Revive Coffee & Cafe from previous owner Cassie Warren.

D’Caramel Patisserie, Southlake | French
The Viennoiserie products are handcrafted from scratch in-house for the perfect balance of crunchiness and rich buttery flavor.

Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews, Fossil Park | American
The North Dakota-based garage-themed burger concept offers 50 different burgers and 50 beers to wash it all down.

Jars by Fabio Viviani, Hulen | Dessert
The uncanning dessert-in-a-jar brand offers an assortment of sweets like cheesecake, birthday cake, and gluten-free options.

Enjoy a drink on the new rooftop patio downtown.

The rooftop bar in the former Houston Street Bar & Patio space features handcrafted cocktails, bites from Son of a Baker Pizzeria, and an upstairs lounge.

Acquario Italian Seafood, Keller | Italian | Reservations
The fine-dining seafood restaurant soft-opened earlier this month + features pasta dishes, vegetarian specialties, and seafood like clams in garlic and squid ink linguine with crab.

Bushi Bushi Market, Near Southside | Chinese
Your new go-to for dumplings and authentic Chinese cuisine — chef Patrick Ru first earned acclaim for his delectable dumplings in Brooklyn, NY before heading southbound with two additional Dallas locations.

Dough’d Up, Riverside Arts District | Dessert
The new dessert shop with doughnuts, edible cookie dough, and coffee offers gluten-free, dairy-free, and protein-packed dessert options.

The Sour Boule, Camp Bowie | Bakery
The 1,300-sqft shop has risen near Benbrook traffic circle + sells bread and cookies.

Tesoro, Riverside Arts District | Mexican
Enjoy all day breakfast and lunch this new cafe that mixes modern and authentic Mexican cuisine.

Good Company Coffee, Old Town Keller | Coffee + bakery | Projected opening: Early 2024
Local businesswoman Robin Dunivan and her husband Grant are setting up a new coffee shop that will serve pastries north of town.

Gustos Burgers + Stuff, Near Southside | Burgers | Projected opening: November 2023
The food truck specializing in late-night burgers is opening its first storefront on Magnolia Avenue. Texan and expert burger maker Jonathan Arguello gained a local following for his fabulously messy burgers and secret sauce.

Cowboy Prime, Stockyards | Steakhouse | Projected opening: TBA
Next up for Armenta and Elliott, the upscale steakhouse plans to expand from Midland to Fort Worth.

Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine, Alliance | Pizza | Projected opening: January 2024
The new 4,900-sqft pizzeria will break ground in Alliance Town Center in November.

Ko Thai, Near Southside | Thai | Projected opening: December 2023
Restaurateur Nick Thana Pornin — the owner of Bedford’s Koracha Thai Restaurant — is bringing his latest endeavor to Magnolia Avenue with dishes like curry, pad Thai + a signature duck basil special.

Parry’s Pizzeria & Bar, Alliance | Pizza | Projected opening: Spring 2024
The Denver-based pizzeria and craft beer bar will open a location at 9601 North Fwy. Menu items include New York-style pies, wings, and 72 beers on tap.

Enchiladas Olé, Camp Bowie | Mexican | Projected opening: TBA
The Tex Mex restaurant plans to open its third Tarrant County location in the former Boozie’s brewpub location.

Portillo’s is bringing Chicago-style fare to Cowtown.

The famous Chicago-based hot dog restaurant will feature a garage-style design, a drive-thru, and an outdoor patio.

Ribbee’s, Carter Park | Barbecue | Projected opening: November 2023
Created by the award-winning pitmasters at Goldee’s, the new barbecue restaurant will specialize in ribs with five varieties including dry-rub, sweet, spicy, tangy, and a rotating rib sauce.

Peak Restaurant & Bar, Fossil Park | Indian | Projected opening: Early 2024
The Irving-based Indian eatery will open its first Fort Worth location on the north side of town. The restaurant serves a variety of Nepali and Indian cuisines — and has a sports bar on the side.

Terry Black’s Barbecue, West 7th | Barbecue | Projected opening: Summer 2024
The family-owned Lockhart-based joint is bringing its smoked brisket to Cowtown.

Four Sisters Restaurant, Mansfield | Vietnamese | Projected opening: November 2023
The former Fort Worth location was named one of the Best New Restaurants by Texas Monthly in 2019 but closed last year. The new restaurant will serve menu items like bao buns, stir-fried lobster, and crab-fried rice.

Rockfish Seafood, Camp Bowie | Seafood | Projected opening: TBA
Get ready for a bowl of Coastal Boil or a serving of fresh mahi mahi.
