Thanksgiving is just around the corner — which means the kids are out of school for the week. Whether you need a quiet house to prep for the big meal or just need a break (parents, we feel you), there are plenty of ways to keep the family entertained locally.

Fall Zoo Camp | Mon., Nov. 21-Tues., Nov. 22

Kids (ages 5-10) can make memorable experiences that focus on wildlife conservation + the outdoors.

Fire Station Camp | Mon., Nov. 22- Wed., Nov. 24

Fire Station Community Center, 1601 Lipscomb St.

Between the mini-library and the center’s playground, kids (ages 5-13) have plenty of ways to burn off their holiday energy.

Chisholm Trail Camp | Mon., Nov. 22- Wed., Nov. 24

Chisholm Trail Community Center, 4936 McPherson Blvd.

At this camp, kids (ages 5-13) can get outside to enjoy a stroll down the 2-mile trail or perform a halfpipe at the center’s skate park.
