Saving Hope Animal Rescue is building a new $2 million sanctuary in Aledo. The 14.8-acre facility will be one of the largest in Texas and be a one-stop-shop for animal rescues and adoption.
The sanctuary will open in early 2023 and be built at 14184 Aledo Iona Rd. — about 22 minutes southwest of downtown. The new space will serve as a centralized location for all services including:
🏘️ Intake housing
🐱 Adoption center
🩺 Veterinary clinic
🍼 Puppy pods for nursing mothers
🐶 Senior area for older dogs
📚 Educational barn
The Fort Worth nonprofit was founded in 2017 and works to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for animals across the state. In 2022, the organization rescued and facilitated the adoption of 1,664 dogs and 1,022 cats from other shelters and surrenders.
