Tarrant County’s brand-new H-E-B Alliance is now open in Alliance Town Center.

Prep that shopping list, Fort Worthians. After years of planning, H-E-B will officially debut its highly anticipated store at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. in Alliance Town Center today — the popular Texas grocer’s first-ever location in Tarrant County. We’ve been hungry since the groundbreaking back in October 2022.

🛒 A sweep of the supermarket

We got a chance to peruse the freshly minted aisles . Inside, shoppers will find all of the bells and whistles that make H-E-B a household name, including:

  • Fresh foods prepared in-store — think: bread, sushi, and that beloved guacamole
  • A bakery brimming with artisan breads and those signature warm, homestyle tortillas — yes, we ate a few while browsing
  • Produce galore — the company sources 100 million pounds annually from Texas growers
  • A home department complete with furniture
  • H-E-B Meat Market with a plethora of cuts
  • H-E-B Pharmacy — BRB, transferring our prescriptions right now
  • A lush plant + garden center
  • A full-service barbecue restaurant, True Texas BBQ

Pro tip: Sign up for the My H-E-B app to clip digital coupons and order curbside pickup or home delivery. The store is open daily, 6 a.m.-11 p.m.

🛍️ The H-E-B history + hype

H-E-B is a family-owned company that began in 1905 in Kerrville, Texas. Over the next 100+ years, the chain grew a faithful following, becoming a Texas staple with more than 400 stores across the state and in Mexico.

In honor of the H-E-B Alliance opening, the company donated $10,000 each to Casa of Tarrant County + the North Texas Humane Society, keeping good on its promise to support local communities.

Shoppers love H-E-B for its store brand products made by Texans, like the Texas Pecan Cafe Olé , and for its Texas-shaped items like its tortilla chips. The company is also touted for its programs that vow to give back to local communities. In honor of the H-E-B Alliance store opening, the company donated $10,000 each to Casa of Tarrant County and the North Texas Humane Society.

The H-E-B Alliance opening comes just a week after the company broke ground on a store in Prosper, expected to open in 2025. There’s also a store being built in Mansfield , slated to debut this summer.
