There’s never a dull moment at Walsh , one of Fort Worth’s most dynamically planned communities that wants to reshape how Texans live. The 7,200-acre development is one of the largest of its kind in a major US city, and it’s only set to grow from here.

Keep reading for five exciting additions in progress at Walsh.

3 residential phases in development

Walsh is actively developing three, brand-new residential phases that include a wide range of homes, from luxury townhomes + boutique garden homes to nearly 5,000 sqft homes from luxury home builders, including Britton, Toll Brothers, and Drees Custom Homes.

Mayor Mattie Parker, Fire Chief Jim Davis, and several city council members attended Fire Station #43’s groundbreaking ceremony.

Primrose School

Primrose School at Walsh is the very first Primrose location to serve Parker County. At 13,500 sqft, the school will feature:

  • 12 classrooms
  • Three secure, age-appropriate playgrounds
  • Classrooms and curricula specifically designed for infants, toddlers, early preschool, preschool, and pre-K
  • After-school care programs

In total, Primrose School will be able to serve a capacity of 215 children. It aims to open in mid-2024, and is currently accepting enrollment applications.

Fire Station #43

In mid-October, The City of Fort Worth broke ground on the new Fire Station #43 in Walsh, which spans 10,000+ sqft and will be staffed with 12 dedicated firefighters, one engine, and one brush truck. The fire station is expected to open in December 2024 — so the countdown starts now.

More additions

  • Modera at Walsh , a luxury multifamily community located just across from the residential neighborhood on the south side of I-30. Modera is actively leasing traditional apartment homes, townhomes + “casitas.”
  • The John and Tracy Sellers Sports Complex , located at Walsh Ranch’s pediatric orthopedic facility. This new facility from Cook Children’s includes a 30-yard mini football field, quarter-mile track, pitching mound, and a speed + agility training area. The complex will play a key role in helping young athletes get the best care and rehabilitative services possible.

Grow with Walsh .
