Picture this: A quiet, meditative space with an enchanting light oasis just steps away from the Trinity River.
The surreal idea is part of a newly commissioned installation by internationally renowned artist James Turrell. The artwork will be within Keith House — the modern-day meeting house — near The Heart of the Ranch at Clearfork at 4814 Edwards Ranch Rd.
“The Keith Skyspace” will be part of the artist’s worldwide Skyspace series, using light to “evoke wonder and a sense of peace.”
According to a press release, the installation will feature a rooftop light source and open floor space with movable pews on four sides, and enough room for 120 guests. There will also be a lobby, storage area, and restrooms.
