It seems like construction has taken over Fort Worth, and some of the mostanticipated residential projects are getting ready to wrap up this year.
From downtown penthouses, to assisted living, and affordable housing — here’s a look at the mixed-use and multi-family developments opening their doors in 2023.
The 27-story tower will be the first multi-family high-rise in downtown at 969 Commerce St. The community will feature 302 apartment units and penthouses, resort-style amenities like a rooftop pool and lounge, along with eight floors of above-ground parking. The ground floor will include dining, shopping, and entertainment space.

The project at 1200 Sixth Ave. features eight townhomes with 20-ft ceilings, 1.5 baths, and a wall of windows overlooking the PS 1200 park. The community will also include 5,500 sqft of office space and three retail locations. The owners of Spiral Diner plan to open two vegan concepts named Maiden and dessert shop Dreamboat Donuts.

The retirement community at 5755 Clearfork Main St. features a nine-story, 214-unit independent living community and a five-story, 95-unit assisted living center on the same site. Amenities include resort-style units with private balconies, valet parking, a movie theater, common area, and chef-driven restaurants.
