Editor’s pick: Last week, I shared that my family eats homemade cinnamon rolls (made by yours truly) every Christmas morning + asked y’all what your special breakfast tradition is for the holidays.

Here’s what other FTWtoday readers are cooking up:
  • “Norwegian Christmas bread.”
  • “My family eats tamales.”
  • “Homemade Christmas cookies.”
  • “My mom found a recipe for candy cane coffee cakes (basically cinnamon and raisin bread in the shape of a candy cane) and made a batch for us and her friends to eat Christmas morning. When I started adulting, I made them for our family and friends. Now my daughter makes them too. It’s a fun way to have something special for Christmas morning and a great way to make a gift for friends or family as well.”
  • “Leftover pizza from the pizza pig-out the night before after Christmas vigil mass with the family.”
  • “We meet up on Xmas morning (either in jammies or clothes) and we have yummy waffles with loads of good toppings. Add scrambled eggs so we get protein.”
