• Branch & Bird has an update on its upcoming remodel. Located on the 12th floor of Frost Tower at 640 Taylor St., the restaurant will close on Thursday, Dec. 15 until further notice. Keep an eye out for the reopening date. 🍽

• The City of Fort Worth gained a seat on the Regional Transportation Council (RTC), now occupying four of the 45 seats. The RTC oversees the metropolitan transportation planning for 12 regional counties.

• Students in grades 6-12 are invited to submit entries to the Fort Worth Public Library’s MLK Jr. Poetry and Art Contest. Entries — expressing the theme “Why Martin Still Matters” — are due by 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7. Read the submission guidelines.
