Get ready for an immersive holiday experience at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden from Friday, Nov. 17 to Monday, Jan. 1. Lightscape will illuminate the garden with a 1.2-mile-long path featuring millions of lights and new installations.

New this year

The after-dark spectacular celebrates the beauty of nature during winter with family-friendly exhibits on an enchanting trail. Over 80% of the display will be updated this year, including 15 all-new installations:

  • Christmas Village | Fire pits, s’more-roasting, hot cocoa, music, and photos with Santa (on select dates)
  • Welcome Arch | A 30-ft illuminated wreath and bow
  • Star Walk | A glowing canopy of suspended twinkling stars
  • Santa’s Grove | “12 days of Cactus Christmas” unique to Cowtown with illuminated cacti and a snow globe
  • Branch Fireworks + Pealight Trees | Colorful lights illuminate tree branches and riverbeds
  • Sea of Light + Star Tree | 2,000 color-changing lights leading to a 40-foot illuminated Christmas tree
  • Heart Arches | Six heart-shaped arches
  • Neon Tree | Strips of neon colors wrap up the trunk and branches of a massive tree
  • Laser Garden | Rotating beams pierce through fog
  • Candy Lane | The “Candyland-inspired” path winds through gumdrops, licorice, peppermint, gingerbread, lollipops, chocolate, and peanut brittle
  • Poleen | Sculptural chandeliers float on water
  • On the Tide | Water-based floating lightworks flow through the Japanese Garden
  • Light Lines | A tunnel of pixel batons

Returning installations

Guests will find 10 larger-than-life installations including 2,000 illuminated bluebonnets, an 18-ft tall cathedral-like tunnel, and garden of fire-like lights.

Admission is set in brackets, based on date. Check out $50 All-Access tickets to arrive at any time. Members get $8 off all pricing.

  • Off-peak pricing: $23 for adults, $15 for kids
  • Regular pricing: $28 for adults, $18 for kids
  • Peak pricing: $30 for adults, $20 for kids
  • Value nights: $18 for adults, $12 for kids

Pro tips

  • The average tour time from start to finish is 1.5 hours — entry times are available every 15 minutes between 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Treat stations are scattered throughout the trail with hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and seasonal drinks.
  • Parking is available on-site for $20 or at Yellow Dickies Arena lots for $15.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes.
