The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo’s All-Western Parade will go on as planned at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13. However, due to the explosion at the Sandman Signature Fort Worth Hotel earlier this week, the route has been slightly modified.
The parade — which is projected to feature 3,000 horses — will start at its usual location at the intersection of Main and Weatherford Streets, south of the Tarrant County Courthouse.
It will run south to the convention center and then turn east on 9th Street — rather than heading west toward Houston Street as originally planned. After one block, the parade will then turn north on Commerce and return to Weatherford Street.
Reserved seating locations will remain at Sundance Square (for $25) and the convention center (for $15). Tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the Dickies Arena Box Office.
To avoid closed roads and the parade route, consider parking at:
- City Center Garage No. 2, 400 Jones St. (free on weekends)
- Commerce Street Garage, 1301 Commerce St. ($18 special event rate)
- Convention Center/Houston Street Garage, 1200 Houston St. ($18 special event rate)
