On your mark, get set, go — the 45th annual Cowtown Marathon is this weekend.
There will be seven races — starting with kids and adults 5Ks, and a 10K on Saturday, Feb. 25. The marathon, half marathon, ultra marathon, and Healthy Hig marathon relay will take place on Sunday, Feb. 26. Registration is open until race day; sign up in advance for a reduced fee on both in-person and virtual races.
All proceeds go to Children’s Activities for Life and Fitness (C.A.L.F.), a program dedicated to helping local children develop a lifetime love of fitness and providing running shoes and financial grants to low-income children.
Race courses start at the Will Rogers Memorial Center and will highlight local landmarks like the Stockyards, downtown, Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Trinity Park, TCU, and museums.
