Hidden Gem: New crystal shop opens inside Fairmount Community Library

Local metaphysical shop Crystal Collaborative has a new sparkling enterprise. The Hidden Gem truly is a hidden gem located inside Fairmount Community Library .

Run by Eli and Malia Hill, the metaphysical shop touts crystals for longtime collectors and curious newbies, working to help community members find natural energies that feel organic to each person.

Tucked away between bookshelves at 1310 W. Allen Ave., the shop sells hundreds of types of stones, books and gifts. Grab a Funky Fairmount T-shirts to support the library.

The Hidden Gem is open Thursday-Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. If you need a crystal in a rush, contact the Crystal Collaborative to make an appointment Monday-Wednesday.

Parking for The Hidden Gem is available along West Allen Avenue, Fifth Avenue, and at Fairmount Park.
