It may be called a funny bone, but finding the right healthcare is no laughing matter. That’s why the US News & World Report evaluates 592 Texas hospitals every year to rank the 30 best healthcare facilities in the state.

In Dallas-Fort Worth, 12 adult hospitals and two children’s health centers made the list. Keep reading to see how these regional spots weigh in for 2023-2024.

No. 1 (tie) | UT Southwestern Medical Center
The teaching hospital is nationally ranked in 11 specialties including cancer care and has locations in Dallas and Fort Worth.

No. 5 | Baylor University Medical Center
The Dallas-based facility is nationally ranked in gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, and corresponding surgeries.

No. 8 | Baylor Scott and White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth
The hospital is nationally ranked in diabetes and endocrinology + ear, nose, and throat care.

No. 12 (tie) | Methodist Dallas Medical Center
The hospital has a high-performing urology specialty + 8 procedures and conditions.

The hospital is high-performing in gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, and geriatric specialties + 8 procedures and conditions.
