Consider it the season for TLC — more than a dozen bridges across the city will get major repairs and rehabilitation starting this summer.
After months of evaluating bids, city leaders approved a contract this week with Balch Springs contractor Gibson & Associate Inc. for nearly $943,000. The funds will go toward the repairs of 17 projects with a proposed completion time of about seven months.

Chief Communications Officer Reyne Telles said, “It is important to maintain and improve the City’s infrastructure, and consideration of the 2023 bridge rehabilitation contract will be a crucial step in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Fort Worth’s bridges.”
