Gustos Burgers + Stuff — a food truck specializing in late-night burgers — is opening its first storefront in the Near Southside.

Texan and expert burger maker Jonathan Arguello gained a local following for his fabulously messy burgers and secret sauce. You may have seen him parked next to Hotel Dryce before his recent move to Tulips FTW.

The burger joint will replace The Radler Biergarten at 1229 7th Ave. It will temporarily open on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 12 p.m. for ArtsGoggle .

Following the arts festival, the restaurant will close and make necessary renovations to meet the needs of the new space. Gustos expects to reopen the first or second week of November for happy hour, dinner, and (hopefully) late-night service.

Until then, burger fans can take a picture of the new sign on Magnolia Avenue, post it to their Instagram story, and tag @___gustos to receive free tater tots.
