American Airlines has released renderings of its new premium seating for long-haul flights. The Fort Worth-based airline will premiere the Flagship Suite seats and upgraded aircraft interiors starting in 2024.

The Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-9 fleets will soon have private seating with a door, chaise lounge seating option + more personal storage for international travel. When they are completed, the upgrades will make the upcoming daily non-stop flights from DFW Airport to Auckland, NZ much more comfortable.

The airline will also refresh its Boeing 777-300ER fleet with updated interiors for long-haul international routes. The plane is currently used to fly from DFW Airport to London Heathrow twice daily.

The revamp will include retrofits to increase the long-haul fleet’s premium seating 45% by 2026.
