Get your best Western outfits ready because the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is just around the corner. From Friday, Jan. 13 to Saturday., Feb. 4, the city will be jam-packed with rodeo events, live music, and good food. Here’s what you need to know.
All-Western Parade 🐎
The festivities will kick off on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m with the world’s largest All-Western Parade. More than 10,000 spectators are expected to gather as 2,000 horses, stagecoaches, equestrian troops, and marching bands make their way through downtown.
Reserved seating options are available in Sundance Square for $25 or at the Convention Center for $15. Save your spot. A parade seat ticket is good for general admission to the Stock Show grounds on any one day during the 23-day run.
Rodeo 🐂
Cowboys and cowgirls will compete to become rodeo champions at Dickies Arena in events like bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, and steer wrestling. Here’s a breakdown of the excitement:
- Best of West Ranch Rodeo | Friday, Jan. 13 + Saturday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
- Best of Mexico Celebraciòn | Sunday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
- Cowboys of Color Rodeo | Monday, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m.
- Bulls Night Out | Tuesday, Jan. 17 + Wed., Jan. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
- Texas Champions Challenge | Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
- ProRodeo Tournament | Friday, Jan. 20-Saturday, Feb. 4
Carnival Midway 🎡
Take a break from the show and play your favorite carnival games outside at the fairgrounds. There’s plenty of family-friendly entertainment including cattle and livestock shows, petting zoos, Midway rides, shopping, and classic carnival food. A rodeo ticket includes day-of fairground access.
Music 🎶
The Auditorium Concert Series will kick off at Will Rogers Memorial Center on Friday, Jan. 13 with performances from John Michael Montgomery and Deana Carter. Pro tip: concert tickets do not include admission to rodeo performances.
The Bud Light Roadhouse — located on the east side of Dickies Arena — will host a series of free concerts every night with performers like Summer Dean, Dunn & Brooks, and Banda Santa Cruz.

Tickets for adults are $12, kids ages 6-16 are $6, and children under 5 are free. Visitors can also take advantage of special discount days like Military Appreciation Day, TCU Day, and Dickies Day — read the full list.
A Stock Show ticket also includes free entry to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
